Howdy folks!

Time to repost the shameless plug, methinks...

Local Staffordshire-based fully qualified Carpenter & Handyman, available for a variety of practical jobs, including (but not limited to):



    • Carpentry - kitchen fitting, door hanging, skirting / architrave, fencing, garden decking & furniture, gates, shelving etc
    • Gardening - garden clearance, hedge trimming, windfall clearance, fencing, wooden borders etc
    • General Build - block laying / paving, gravel laying, painting & decorating, like - for - like electrical replacement
    • Handywork - rust / paint removal, cleaning, repairs
This is only a short list of the more common tasks I can do, if you think I might be able to help then just ask, it's only one of two answers you'll get. Often said, but I genuinely mean this - NO job is too small! References are available upon request, from both Forum users and other jobs. VERY reasonable rates, and I can also supply 99% of the materials likely to be needed.

I can't stress the importance of this point as my current lack of a good internet connection may seem as if I'm ignoring potential customers, and I assure one and all this is NOT the case. I will try and respond to forum requests but cannot guarantee a fast response at the current time.

PLEASE NOTE - NO GAS, PLUMBING OR LARGE ELECTRICAL JOBS (ie rewires, fusebox installs, bathroom / wet area / external) - I'm not qualified for gas or electrical works, so please consult a qualified professional for these types of jobs. Likewise I'm not competent with plumbing, so please, let someone else do it properly - there are plenty of other Forumites who will be happy to help on this one.

I have Neon Jay in my back garden as I type this :keke:. Had him round to do the back fence n gate. I have to say I'd reccommend him to everyone,done a lovely job,tidied up after himsen,and scared both the cats! Seriously tho,I have a few more bits n bobs needing doin,and I wouldn't hesitate to get Jay here again.


Slight edit:- sorry about the parking ticket! But he has done a brilliant job and is really nice n friendly too,just don't let him tell you any jokes! :D

Had Neon Jay round again today,another fence panel. Has done a smashin back job of both sides. Even let him practice his pyromaniacs routine (again). I won't hesitate to use his services again in the future (I wish! shame he's so young!!:lolsmash:) Keep the bloke in coffee and he appears happy.

He's actually preparing himsen ready to come n do battle with my back garden. The lure of a sausage.bacon an egg butty didn't do the trick,he's building up his stamina on extra strength caffeine ready.

Gramaisc, thanks again for the heads up on FaceBook, it's about the only application that seems to want to work on my (allegedly) smartphone, as it simply will not post responses on the forum for some reason. The lack of connection is causing me a rather large problem with regards to responding swiftly on here, however I've responded to both of the PM's sent so I hope that we can still proceed with the works in question, albeit not as promptly as I would have wished for. Perhaps an Android app is something that Adders could potentially look at somewhere down the line? Could be very handy! The seed has been planted ;)
