Yes, I agree but "At the end of the day" can be a problem and pubs are usually quieter at lunchtime.
Song from my childhood Love it.
When @Glam & my boat comes in, will be the same day as our ship sails.....
With our luck, it'll be Titanic 2!
You could wait for Titanic II, though there might be just a slight possibility that it may never happen...
Reminds me of a comment from Lord Lew Grade when he produced the film 'Raise the Titanic' which utterly bombed at the box office. When he was told how much money the film had cost him he replied: "It would have been cheaper to lower the Atlantic."
It will be the kids who will be paying for all this so perhaps in best to educate them
Easier to keep them paying if you don't?
Yeah .... but then the lights will go out.

Pubmen sounds very sexist.
When I was at school, a lot of the effort put in by the service providers was devoted to stopping any socialising between service users.

Still waiting for that definition of Pubmen.
Urban dictionary says
Lowlife scum who inhabit your local, their behaviour is irratic and often criminal, everyone has an inner pubman just waiting to be released after a few pints.
There you go
I'm taking minime to her opticians appt later today. They rang yesterday to make sure we haven't got the Rona.
Instructions are to arrive 10 mind early, and you don't need to wear a face mask.
Why on earth would you not wear a face mask? Given how close they get to you to do the eye test?
I was offended enough last Feb when I had my eye test, as the optition had a heavy cold and continually sniffed & snorted in my face while peering at the back of my eyes.
