im no expert by any means.
however I was told when I was looking to try and get a DSLR over a bridge if you can afford it, you would need the extra features later on and a DSLR would allow that scope.
cant really comment on the Pentax X-5 as ive never tried one to be honest.
regarding the Canon 6D , if funds would have allowed at the time, that is the camera I would have chosen over my Canon 600D.
