They usually say the old ones are the best but in this case certainly not. It may have escaped your attention we no longer have a gas board nor do we have town gas!

Went to donate and was rejected, sob ME rejected!
After 57 pints!
Low iron in blood, I think I'll go and suck nails.
I was borderline - well, failed, actually, but I negotiated a re-try before they stuck a hole in the other arm. The second attempt was a tiny bit better and just made it in the time - phew..

My previous initial failures have all been in the autumn, and all but one have subsequently been passed by the machine.

I'll take Mrs Trumpet, she often says we should go out for tea and biscuits sometime, she'll enjoy it.

I had an appointment booked following my last session for 6th Sept, to receive a letter cancelling it for 27th Sept, right confused me on the 6th as couldn't remember it!

I agreed to an appointment for 11:05 on Sunday 19th, but I notice that the letter I've just had says 12:00. Maybe they have 'computer issues'..

Just been for a pint at the Rangers, well, 470ml anyway..

Most efficient session that I've ever been to, but very few donors in evidence..

There is allegedly a current shortage of donated blood, due to the weather. There is due to be a donation session at the Rangers on Sunday ( 12th ), from 10.00 - 12.15 & 13.45 - 15.30, should you have any spare that you're not using..

Unfortunately I am only allowed to go donate when its warmer, my veins are deep lying and sods to hit at the best of times and they never manage to get any out of me in winter :(

Wow its amazing how many different things the weather has affected. I've always wanted to give blood but unfortunately I can only do it if I go to Birmingham and have it done by a specialist :(

They've got me down for a "empty arm" on Sunday, pity they didn't tell it was on on Fri too I would have preferred it, as it is I've just had a large brandy in my coffee.

It's not a question they ever ask me.
"Have you ever injected drugs?"
"Have you had a tattoo in the last 6 months?"
"Are you currently drunk?"

I know for a fact that you have injected drugs.
I know for a fact that you've been to Edinburgh.
I also know another fact.
