The English Democrats are a little known political party that has yet to have a branch in Stafford or anywhere in Staffordshire.
They are the 7th largest party in England even with their limited media exposure. They have the same aims for England as their colleague nationalists, the Scottish, Welsh, Ulster and Eire.

Perhaps a Stafford branch of the Pensioners Convention might have an interest in someone coming to give them a talk presentation about the party at a future time?
The political party English Democrats have been going a couple of decades, are registered, of course, with the Electoral Commission and did run in the last round of local elections and are running in the General Election. But, of course, not in Staffordshire.
They are one of the original political parties aiming for an English parliament and are allied to the Jury Team which is for referendums on manifesto items of a political party. They had had talks with the Pensioners Party, but that party has not been able to weather out the recession.

This post is written by someone who lives in Stafford, who would like to vote English Democrat but cannot just as anyone else who lives in Stafford as there is no branch of the English Democrats here.
England needs alternative political parties to come into the public eye as the three political parties we have in parliament are losing more and more voters each year with less and less people even bothering to sign on the electoral roll let alone cast a vote in a ballot box.
The key aims about policy is on Globalisation, Immigration and the EU.
They are neither Left nor Right just English.
And one policy is explained thus by the Chairman of the English Democrats, Robin Tilbrook:
..."while ethnic groups should be free to promote their own cultural identity: "The public culture of England should be that of indigenous English."
A party built by people that love England.
My ethnic background is one that is by blood English (father) and English Greek (mum).
Greeks from Greece have lived and worked in England for 2,000 years continuously, having first come here in 925 BC and named these British Isles, Britannia and that name for this land was taken up by their colleagues, the Romans, and the name stuck even after the latter left.
I am two cultures in one body, one the national culture that is my father's and one my mother's culture for within that community around the country or when I return to Greece on holiday.
But my love for England is my homeland and its great culture.
But even without blood, all foreigners can and do this dual language/culture trick, which is within the published science (since the 1950s) called the dramatic name, unfortunately, of Culture Shock, first described by the anthropologist Kalervo Oberg ... one scholarly work's title is by a foreign author - a Slovene describing his compatriots moving to Canada ... "immigrants and their adjustment to a new land were the subject of many contemporary studies in the field of psychology, sociology and anthropology.... integration seems to be the healthiest and most beneficial, not only to the immigrants, but to their homeland and to their host country, because it promotes the unity in diversity."
But a political party is more than just ethnicity and is about the economy and savings in the national debt and where our priorities lay in what we want from government. The English Democrats seem to be saying what I hear the English saying each day all around me in Stafford between each other.
