Mr Shoes just for you

English Democrat Manifesto Link

We English have been denied our democratic rights regarding the devolution settlement imposed on England by Labour – and, importantly, which neither the Tories nor the Liberal Democrats seek to change. Its time for England to have its own voice.

The anomalous position of Monmouthshire is, in their defence, a matter of some urgency.

And who wouldn't want to make flying the cross of St. George compulsory on all public buildings?

Really how old are you lot, if you are going to comment please do so with some level of intelligence.

The founding members of the English Democrats came together in 2002 when the party was launched at Imperial College London. Many of the founding members were ex-members of the non political grouping The Campaign for an English Parliament. Our party consists largely of people who have stepped out of their professional working lives to provide leadership and protest against the anti democratic behaviour of New Labour and the indifference and incompetence of Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.

English Democrats have no links with the BNP or any other political party, and seek simply to provide political representation for England in the same way that the SNP (Scottish National Party) provides a Scottish political representation and Plaid Cymru provides political representation for the Welsh.

Politically, our policies are neither left nor right. We have a commitment to a mixed economy, but also require protection for the vulnerable and would advocate developing public ownership policies for key strategic industries. We are implacably opposed to globalisation, economies based on ‘cheap labour’ and the off-shoring of English jobs.

Mr Henry and his Cat, the parliament you refer to is the UK parliament not an English parliament.

The asymmetrical devolution that has been imposed in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland cannot be reversed. It has led to social injustices that will no longer be tolerated by the people of England. English demand for justice has fomented a new and vigorous English movement that will not be denied.

Dennis: Come and see the violence inherent in the system. Help! Help! I'm being repressed!
King Arthur: Bloody peasant!
Dennis: Oh, what a giveaway! Did you hear that? Did you hear that, eh? That's what I'm on about! Did you see him repressing me? You saw him, Didn't you?

3.27.1 The English Democrats call for British Tourism to be converted into English tourism bodies, focused on the growth of the English tourist industry. This reflects the fact that national tourism bodies now operate for Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland.

Tell that to enjoyengland

You can't be not left and not right.

Picked out your transport "policy" to read as that's always an interesting one since it isn't that determined by issues around nationalism - it's garbage. Nobody in their right mind is going to take your party seriously.

Why do we need a Political Party just for England?
It’s about trying to save one of the world’s oldest nations from being broken up by conniving British establishment and Brussels elite.

It’s about giving the 50 million people in England a national democratic voice through our own legislative parliament something that every other western nation has as of right.

It’s about fairness, national empowerment and the positive cultural recognition of England.

For too long, England has been buried under a British identity of convenience by Labour, the Tories and the Liberal Democrats. For too long, England has been shamelessly abused, compromised and pillaged by successive Westminster administrations. England is not OEBritain-Lite; we are not a disparate collection of Euro regions, we are not a cash cow for the benefit of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are England, a proud and historic nation! How ironic then that England, the originator of the modern two tier parliamentary system, copied by every other western nation is unique in being denied even the most basic of democratic rights and cultural expression. We aren't even allowed our own national anthem.

Over the past decade, New Labour has been engaged in a programme of English national eradication. They have continued the work of the Tories before them - and with the ever willing help of the Liberal Democrats, England is now a disenfranchised basket case.

If like us, you too think England is in danger then you need to do something about it NOW!

You need to join us, the English Democrats the only political party fighting to preserve our country England from the hostile hands of Westminster and Brussels.

Tell me, do the SNP and Plaid Cymru emphasise indigenous people in their policies?

Shurely shome mistake?

Even the most basic democratic rights? Man, you have got to get out more - perhaps a trip to Burma may give you a bit of perspective.
