Well we did vote to leave the Euros last week didn't we. Personally I blame Sky.

Yet again my Remain vote counted for nothing.

That was really quite bad. Really really bad. Had that England team had to play the Italy team of earlier, it would have been utterly annihilated. Utterly. Annihilated.

Is there any realistic possibility of coaxing Jürgen Klinsmann from the US of A? There haven't been any proper competitive 2018 qualifying matches yet, have there? We now have an extra £350m a week we could offer him, that should do the trick, what?

Isn't it wonderful how racism works? When all around you are mouthing off about how
much they hate the Welsh, suddenly the BBC lauds them for doing so well in Euro 2016.

I quote Brenda Fricker: When you are lying drunk at the airport you're Irish.
When you win an Oscar you're British. [Brenda Fricker]

And that proves that in tournament football, that it's not over until it's over. Games are played until the final whistle of extra time or the last penalty.

Not the greatest of tournaments, but it had it's moments of brilliance.

it shows that you don't need to play well to win a tournament.
highlights or things i'll remember from it are, in no order

Wales, great to see them do so well
Iceland, great achievement to go so far, good to see them show England up for what they are
Iceland fans with that huge clap/chant
Shaquiri's goal

Ah well, we won't be in Euro 2020 seeing as we won't be part of The EU.

That means we only have to complain about how rubbish the England football team are every four years.
