Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

I thought all of them were switched off now and had been for a few years in the county.
I was thinking more when they were active....the odd thing about that camera is that its in the central reservation facing the wrong way (north, down the hill). I'd never seen one facing that way before...

I'm sure it was originally put up, because someone was caught doing in excess of 100mph going down Yarlet Bank?

There was a survey before the installation - I was told that the highest speed recorded was rather more than 100mph and was actually in the uphill direction, though, of course, you haven't reached much of an upward slope at that point.

It may well be turned off as it was a mobile camera that caught me heading to Stafford from Stone one Saturday afternoon.

I'm sure that in the days before scamerers slightly greater speeds were achieved, especially downhill

It is not though really I guess.

The camera is on the straighest part of the road coming up an almost blind school exit.

If there was one position for it,for me that makes the most sense especially for south bound traffic. Not that it seems to work though anymore

Wrong place as in the cameras are designed to film to the right.....having it in the central reservation is the "wrong place".

A well done to the genius I was behind on Radford bank just :bravo:
White corsa (YC60 AZP) behind another car that stopped at the lights about to go up Radford bank for this driver to suddenly decide they didn't want to wait and went passed the car in front and through the lights on red while somebody was using the lights to cross to road :ohno:

Don't suppose you have a dash cam? Police would love such an easy conviction, even less work than a speed camera!

As I was waiting to cross over the pelican crossings by Lloyds bank, the usual 4 -5 cars went through on amber and red. Little green man came on for me to cross.....Then the female in a black car with 'Learner' plates on started to slow down for the red lights, passenger said something to her, so she floored it through. Great way to be taught to drive! :ohno:

Enjoying a drop of red.

Start as you mean to go on, I should think?

I'd love to see the examiners face if she did that on her test . Expecting to come to a stop and suddenly....vroooom!
She'd pass the pedestrian targeting part of the test with flying colours. The only thing that could get her higher marks is if she did it whole driving through a deep puddle.

So, overtaking the JCB here with the assumption that there wouldn't really be a bus coming round the corner at you turned out to have been a bad guess, did it?

Today, I deliberately ran a red light.

I probably could have stopped easily enough, but there was neither a pedestrian nor a vehicle that looked like it might be about to start off early and the Audi that was inches off my rear bumper clearly had not given any consideration to the possibility of stopping.

To be fair to him, it turned out that there was another Audi right up behind him, so he may have been through the same risk assessment process as I had.

Apologies to Mr-White-Van-Man who thought I was shouting obscenities at him on the Windmill Roundabout earlier today - I was actually shouting at the little old lady in front of you who didnt appear to know what indicators are for! :ohno: :emo:
