Nice one, glad to hear more Forumites putting themselves forward, dunna worry about the age thing I've got a two 30 plus players, 1 who works for the RAF, he's always going away but I always get him a game when he's back. He's probably the sharpest player in the team. Shift working players that doesn't matter, I get around it by having a big squad to choose a team from.

I played in the Stafford Sports Arena 5-a-side league when it first started in 1990(?) until around 3 years ago (knee injury and old age - 40) but would love to just get together for a kick about if everyone is willing.

Would you mind posting what times you're playing as I'd like to come down anyway.

Kit could/would be brought in case of emergencies.

As well as playing 5-a-side twice a week, I used to play 11-a-side on Sunday morning in Stafford and then 11-a-aside on Sunday afternoons in Stoke so I've plenty of experience if not the same levels of fitness
