And look what happened after the last time they were knocked out of the first round do da do da!!!
To be honest this is the worst German side I've ever seen, they're old, slow and seriously lacking motivation. Such a pity eh?

Belgium learned that Fellani and Chadli were 'super-subs' - England learned that they didn't have any (with the exception of Vardy, who won't play anyway - no i don't know why either, but he won't).
I think we have all learned that giving players a 'rest' when they have to play seven games over the course of one month is quite idiotic. Belgium were actually quite close to falling for it.
If Colombia don't beat us, Sweden will.
I fancy our chances more against Switzerland, but i fear this is a bridge too far.

Well i'm not gonna lie, i thought here we go...
I even know a stupid joke where the punchline revolves around 'Earwig 0' - it takes a lot of time for him to put his boots on is the gist of it.
I honestly never thought i would see the day. I'm not even moved by it, it is what it is, defined even as it is by the many times that it has not been so. We won a penalty shoot-out.

We should definitely not start sucking each others dicks just yet, but the facts of the matter are that we could definitely beat the Swedes. I don't think we will, but we certainly could.
If we did, we'd be in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Perhaps this would come as some late redemption for Graham Taylor, who, though he may well have been a turnip, was turned into a swede not a turnip for the Sun's famous front page.
If we are to look into our souls, we would have to accept that England have not played well, have had an easy ride to get where we are, but have at least got where we are.
Can anyone think of a better final than France v. England?

In view of what they did then I doubt many other than you will morn their execution. Plus they got to live an extra 23 years longer than their victims.

I'm not making an argument for capital punishment here (unless it's for stupidity, ignorance, or knowing ones rights), as I don't hold with it.
Neither am I going to morn this lot or lose any sleep over them.
