i'm looking at 3 bedroom places, but the 3rd room need only be big enough for a decent office.. where's espleys yard?

edit: ah right, are they the new ones behind the colosseum? it would be fine now it's closed down, but surely it would be a nightmare once it reopens?

Whats your budget / how many rooms? Parking?
budget depends on the place, i guess.. we're looking in the region of £550, but if we come across a really nice place with enough perks (e.g. nice garden, off road parking, good area, that sort of thing) then we could stretch to £650 or so..

defo need 3 rooms, but as i say the 3rd need only be big enough for an office.. parking would be nice, as we will have 2 cars..

My house will be coming up for rent soon, its on Tithe Barn Rd. I was going to sell but hubby and I have decided to rent it out. 3 bedroom, decent sized 3rd room too. Brand new kitchen in it, needs decorating but not desperate for it. Close to town. Rear and front parking.

hmm, we just rented a new place at £550, very long garden, big garage at end of garden, 3 double rooms and a conservatory. Sandon road though, big house but an older one, not your modern flat type things. Prob wouldn't have fitted in with what you're after. And its mine now!

Rightmove have a few, how about this:

sounds nice! tbh, i'm not that fussed about the "modern" aspect really.. i just don't want a house which is really "old" looking inside.. my flat in sheffield had awful wallpaper, carpet and curtains, so i want to avoid that again.. as long as it's neutral colours inside, and everything matches, that would be great..

yeah, i've been eyeing up that one.. being on weston road put me off, cos it's obviously one of the main roads in & out of stafford.. and being next to pennycroft flats and lammascut garage might attract undesirables lol..

but yeah, it does look lovely for the money.. might arrange a viewing - it can't hurt!

sorry mrs m, i missed your post first time round!

thanks for the heads-up, i'll bear it in mind.. let me know if it does become available.. i'd much rather deal with a privte landlord than a letting agent! no fees, better relationship, etc. i've always found it much better in the past :)

dammit, i had arranged a viewing of this one today, but they've just phoned me back to cancel cos someone else has accepted on it

i had really started to get my hopes up about it as well, so many people have had so many good things to say about the house/area! :gonk:

just spotted one of these on rightmove, and aesthetically it's exactly the sort of place i had in mind.. it's even furnished, which is a bit of a bonus!

i'm worried about the location, though.. am i right in thinking they are right behind zanzibar? i know it's closed down now, but surely it will open again in the near future.. have the developers come up with some magical way of keeping out the noise/riff raff?

Yep you are right, behind Zanzibar and above / further along from The Yard.

If you are now looking at 2 bedroom places and still like Castlefields.... http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property...locationIdentifier=POSTCODE^824352&radius=0.0

Not sure if this is my colour but might suit you.... :D

This one is quirky - cancel that, only 1 bedroom.

i'm not, really.. tbh i don't know what i was thinking with that espleys yard one i linked - it's not what i'm after for a number of reasons (too small, too close to youths, too many stairs, etc.).. i guess i just liked the way it looked - i'd love a nice, clean interior, with fitted everything and easy to maintain surfaces..

castlefields really does seem like an ideal location, so thanks for your constant input.. i might go and look round this 2 bedroom one, if only to get a feel for the place.. plus, it's cheap as chips!

+1 skill :D:up:
