I have just got an iphone. Anyone know of any good aps that they would recommend?

How does The Forum look on the iPhone? I'd love to make a mobile version, but I haven't got the first clue how. If anyone has any pointers or good resources for me to look into, let me know :)

Erm...where to start - there's so many! These are some of the ones I've got on mine at the moment...

Shazam - Lets you identify music thats playing by recording a small clip. Links to itune too.
Remote - Control iTunes on your PC if you have a wireless network
Palringo - Lets you access pretty much all instant messanger accounts (best IM app I've found)
Skype
Facebook
Vicinity - Provides info on where you are - nearest bars, restaurants, etc...
Ezimba - Photo editor
NightCamera - Slightly better camera software than the standard one.

There's far too many games to list, but search for "Lite" versions of games, so you can try a couple of levels before you buy. Try Super Monkey Ball, iFighter, PAC-MAN, iShoot...

Version 3.0 of the OS is out in the next couple of months too so gonna get loads more features, like MMS, search, new text message app, better camera...

Been having a play and the only thing i dont like is the lack of flash support (actually copy and past would be nice aswell, but ive read you can get apps to make it do that). I wanted to be able to stream Tv episodes (over wireless) while in bed but it wont let me. You can apparently get it to work if you jailbreak it and get an app called imobilecinema.

Apart from that it's a brilliant bit of kit. This is actually the first time i've turned my pc on since getting it as i've been able to do everything i wanted on my phone without having to come upstairs.

Copy and paste will be coming in version 3.0 and there's talk of flash being supported very soon as well. A lot of the features of 3.0 should've been there from the start, but another good thing about the iphone is it's constantly being updated. It is absolute quality though and haven't put it down in the 6 months I've had it! Just make sure you get a decent case for it too.

FWIW Admin, the forum looks absolutely spiffing on my HTC Touch HD in both Opera and Internet Exoloder, so thumbs up from here!

I understand from a friend who has an iphone that the app called ibrate is a definate croud pleaser.

Not really interested in that one personally. I know it's easy to wipe clean but it dosent seem hygenic to me.
