Could you have done any better rather than sitting typing on your keyboard? Fool.
Last I checked @GNM67 isn't a paving contractor. Of course, an appeal to accomplishment fallacy (“you do better”) is what someone uses when they don’t have a good argument to make in the first place.

The paving contractor isn’t going to hire you if you loyally defend their inability to do their job.

Ah, so you're a forum moderator then?

I've lived in Stafford since 1968 so I'll comment on it if I wish. Fool.
Not a moderator but I don’t make stupid and foolish comments like yourself when you have no experience nor trade to make them! And if you’ve been around that long you should’ve learnt by now! Tool.

No but you clearly didn’t attend so have no rights really to comment

This is a forum, it’s where people make comments, and as far as I’m aware we still live in a country of free speech.

So he had every right to comment, but whether you agree or disagree is entirely up to you.

Most of us on here if we do disagree tend to discuss and debate in a grown up civil manner. It’s how forums work.

What we don’t do is tell people they have “no right”.

The old "you haven't been/seen/done 'the thing' so therefore you have no right to comment" comment.

I have just walked through and seen the new 'improved' slabs. They are totally underwhelming, looking a bit like a 1970s patio with all the different colours. I preferred the old style, when it was first installed of course, not when it was the patchwork brick/tarmac combo.

And I really have to ask - why did it take so long to do?

Is that Mrs, Conkers? (Conkley) or a close friend?? /Relative #Teamconks
Does she have any connection with hearts & hands. I’m sure I saw a post elsewhere that described some sort of connection but I can’t remember what of where. Anyone confirm this or was I dreaming?
