Tonight, on the way to the pub, I passed a maternity home.

It rained considerably when I planned to cycle home, so I was forced to stay longer - hence the late posting of this information.

I am on the shores of Lake Bala for the weekend. It’s a big campsite but Motorhome sand caravans aren’t shoe horned in.
You probably already know but the drive over the Berwyns on the B4391 is a lovely drive especially when it drops down into Llangynog.

Makes a pleasant change from the busy A5 route home.

I had a static caravan at Henstent caravan park in Llangynog for years and that's a nice riverside site surrounded by mountains.

Currently sat in my bedroom, watching Railcams new camera which is streaming The Royal Albert Bridge. It's on the Saltash side of the bridge, which goes over the River Tamar. Also known as The Brunel Bridge.
If @BobClay was still with us, we could have asked him stand on the road bridge and give us a wave.

Only mundane because it's become so sickeningly repeatative!
The houses at the top end of North Castle Street being set alight yet again and houses anywhere near having the sickly aroma of whatever smoke was created. Seriously, somebody needs catching in the act and given a real kicking! 2 more engines and a police car being called out while more damage is done, is the sort of behaviour that should carry a sentence rather than a slap, if and when anybody gets caught!

Are they still trying to sell the burnt out shells for over 60k?

Bloke next door to my eldest caught 2 of them breaking into the empty house by my lads. He followed them into town, where they were stopped by the Police. They were then released and allegedly went back and started the fire. There is a video, but unless yr mates with either the gent who recorded it, or my lad, then it won't be seen. And I'm obviously not able to name either here.

If it is used and they are treated in such a way that it sends a message, it's progress! Questions have to be asked if they were released.

Christ that sounds bad .:o

Thought I had problems just , when my rogue tea light suddenly set fire to the wax burner on the fireplace....

Stupid me panicked and tried to blow the massive flames out, resulting in a small bonfire starting to melt the carbon monoxide detector behind.
it. I was going to throw water over but hubby said would make it worse, so just had to stand their watching it until it burnt out.

Sometimes, it's difficult to know whether to laugh or cry.

Sunday morning thicko moment: couldn't remember the job title of somebody who kills other people for money and so ACTUALLY GOOGLED "what is someone who does assassinations called?"

I read this as “I couldn’t remember my job title” for a moment and was slightly concerned

Only slightly though, you never know when you’ll need one

A Hitman ?
A cousin of mine in the US had tenuous links to a San Diego mafia hitman through marriage. Her husband was ‘married to the mob’ in that he was previously married to the niece of a mob hitman, Frank Bompenseiro - known as ‘The Bomp’. Her husband used to attend various mob get-togethers. Apparently ‘the Bomp’ was notorious in the underworld and the tv series The Sopranos had a character named after him. Surprisingly - given his occupation - the real Bompenseiro managed to survive until the age of 71 before he too was ‘taken out’.
Read about him here if the foregoing has piqued your interest :
