Chose East Midlands airport this time for a change, as Manchester and Brum kept having route closures each time we flew in the early hours....now find our planned route down the A50 is closed tonight ! Aaaargh! ( Going to use my phone satnav with live traffic this time, over Tom-Tom which just tries to get me back onto closed roads....hubby says we are using Tom-Tom, so shall have both of them joining hubby shouting away at me.)
He's gone off to bed disagreeing with my choice of alternate route....I'm driving so going my way....Our usual start to the holiday then

Now wondering whether my advice for son to get to work in Worcester for 6am tomorrow is wise 
( Move into new home delayed last minute, so having to commute from here for a while) With M5 closed overnight by West Brom, advised him to jump on the Toll and M42.......now seems M42 is fully closed overnight in parts tonight with big delays as well !
Spent so much time looking at travel reports, waste of time going to bed now! Only got an hour until the alarm goes off

Had a shite journey to east midlands, A50 closed so down lanes in thick fog .
Then to top it all, cost £2 to take wrong lane in the airport
