Did last night when ...after 8 pints of magners, 8 liqueurs and numerous other concoctions ( even pulled a 22 yr old and got bought a drink ). Hit the wall quite a few times walkings ideways walking back to hotel.

Tables turned after son saw my WhatsApps with new found geordie mates, with him sending messages to hubby asking if mum was ok,( normally me worrying about him).....hubby later sent photos of me safely back in hotel room fully clothed crashed out on the bed.

Spent half the night starkers on the bed , after waking up and couldnt work out how my nightie went over my head


Still made breakfast..

Back out on ''The Strip" at the moment re-living my yoof

Never understood why we had to learn that stuff at school. At least you made use of learning it.
My brother must have slung all our dad's (maths teacher) log books out in the house clearance, but I found the old slide rules. After all those maths lessons , can't remember how to use one now.

There is only one child in my house! A teenager at that. Spawn3 just went off to school and Spawn4 has gone to her grandparents in Bradwell for break. I'm left with Spawn2 till about 3:45. A strange feeling.

Never understood why we had to learn that stuff at school. At least you made use of learning it.

School is more about learning how to learn rather than actually learning stuff. Some of it will rub off, and occasionally it'll be useful at some stage in your life, but mostly it's a stepping stone should you decide to follow that particular path in your career etc.
