Wondering where the hell all this bloody rain is coming from! Stuck in a spanish hotel room yet again due to a second day of torrential rain since Sunday. Not stopped absolutely chucking it down since we got up and no sign of it ever stopping ever ,ever again

A work colleague of mine is flying out to Barcelona tomorrow to compete in some marathon or other. She's been told to expect thunderstorms!Wondering where the hell all this bloody rain is coming from! Stuck in a spanish hotel room yet again due to a second day of torrential rain since Sunday. It's been thundering here in Salou a bit today as well and still hasn't stopped bloody raining! At least the thunder isn't as bad as when we came to this hotel in June....had to evacuate the hotel when ,after a massive crack of thunder and flash of lightening, the fire alarms went off and they reckoned we had been hit. (I was ironing at the time. Never pulled a plug out of a socket so fast! )
Thinking it's going to be a case of hitting the hotel bar early tonight and staying there. Not my idea of a good night out, but glad we got that option.

Pleased to say it has actually stopped raining here the last half hour and the sun is actually shining this evening.
Feeling proper shlozzeled after hitting the hotel bar early on an empty stomach before tea......... off out on the town now

its something we have been doing the last 5 years or so after i was diagnosed with an incurable and progressive health condition. Decided to make twice the memories! We do the whole thing, tree, sprouts, crackers, Christmas pudding and of course gifts! We, well actually husband, cooked for 16 this time!

Today is our unofficial Christmas eve. lifted out the turkey for the dinner, tree out of loft and ready to decorate, present wrapping to commence in the morning.

Having a middle of the night cuppa whilst googling 'cures and causes for leg cramps' , after stretching in bed and ......... aargghh!
After reading about the black eyed child on here, went back to bed with my eyes tightly shut (already convinced the hotel room is haunted when 'someone' grabbed my bum in bed on 2 occassions the other night ....hubby was across the room snoring his head off in the other twin bed, so deffo wasn't him....
)Nearly bloody sh1te myself when hubby opened the curtains and (seeing it wasn't raining) shouted out "OOOOH ! " Thought he'd seen a black eyed child looking in
