I came down from upstairs to find him rubbing it into the carpet with a towel :ohno: ........ If I'd left him to do it, I'd end up re-doing it myself in the end to get it done properly. (Shampooing it up wasn't too much bother, just takes bloody ages setting the machine up and cleaning it out afterwards.) Most maddening thing about it, it was only shampooed last week after he'd dropped a bottle of whisky on it. Sure he does it on purpose
If it had been vodka then tomato juice, you would have been justified in using the word "bloody" in any consequent comments to him.

That's what I got the tomato juice in for in the first place ...... looks like just the usual cider again tonight (I had given up, but been driven to it ;) )

AAAAAAaaaaargh...Think I'll be needing that bed @Glam . Within minutes of hubby coming in from work, he's dropped a whole litre of tomato juice onto the carpet ! So instead of our usual nightly walk, he's gone off walking on his own while I've gone nuts and had to get the carpet shampooer out .

Perhaps Glam can arrange for a double bed for you both if you ask her nicely :)

Just been made aware my photo was in the paper yesterday , from many years ago
well post it on here then so we can have a look

I've got the paper and I'm trying to work out which picture it might be.

I'm looking at the "Times Gone By" section and so far I've eliminated union man Bill Setterfield and banjo playing Reg Shakespeare.
I also don't think it's the man in the moustache looking very serious on page E10, but he does look rather proud of his Bowling Club Shield.

I've narrowed it down to six pictures.
All females, although I've been ticked off once before for gender assumption on this forum.

Hope all is ok @Gadget ,

Peggy's tip of the day, if ever you're out of coffee and you think it's a good idea to open up and use the content of a tassimo pod (as the T machine is broken) just don't.
