Just back from filming at the 3rd biggest regular student sporting event in the UK, at least in terms of attendance - Birmingham Uni's evening of American Football and fireworks. Here's video from a previous year.

Tonight I feel a little disappointed with my meal out, although the company was great!

Went to see John Bishop at Arena Birmingham tonight. Brilliantly funny. A great night out.

Went to a new hairdressers opening bash early doors yesterday, plenty bubbly about. Then on to the Roe Buck at Wolseley Bridge for a meal with my brother & sister in law. Can recommend the steaks. Can't recommend my brother.

In case you couldn't tell, Eldest Spawn is cooking a little boy.
It's just what she wanted and we are thrilled for her. There was a crazy couple of hours with Honorary Spawn's family (not my favourite people) then as he had to go to work it was just us. Had a lovely afternoon and evening just chilling and laughing as we tried to play her 'identify this' games on her tablet. My favourite of all the guesses was when she came out with ''It's a snake....with arms..''

Rather pissed off to find the student letting business we have been chasing owing money from since last June has now seemed to have sold up and their website disappeared. Googling the owner who has kept promising re-imbursement has brought up ....
