We went out today to buy tiles.
We'd set aside the morning to go and have a look round the numerous tile shops in the vicinity.

We came home with no tiles.

We did however purchase a totally gorgeous gown for me to wear on New Years Eve.

Husband said he's not quite sure how that happened but he's not entirely surprised. :)

Today I have worried about my situation - i haven't worried in this way for over a decade, so i"m not used to it.

It is an unpleasant state of being.
I missed this until I saw the reply from @Gadget

Anyone that has ever worried about their situation will understand that's is not a good place to be.

I hope that whatever it is sorts itself out but in the meantime have a hug

As one who is used to worrying about her situation, you have my empathy. Is there anything I can do?

Awake for another whole night due to my Cough, to add insult to injury I was refused cough medicine in Asda !

Now, should I hit the 'Night Nurse' tonight, knowing full well Im at work tomorrow & it'll make me feel a Zombie or suffer another night coughing all night?

Hope your cough gets better soon @littleme .
I Just don't know what to try next for my cough that's lasted months, and now my middle ear has a blockage . Some doctors say to get over the counter medications, which I think I've tried every one going. Other doctors say NOT to take any over the counter medication. Some say I need antibiotics for an inner ear infection, some say I don't. Nurse practitioner gave me an inhaler which "isn't for asthma" which made no difference at all. Next doctor told me it is an asthma inhaler and doing more harm than good, so stop it immediately ...
And thinking something has gone wrong in the 'xray results to doctors surgery' system. Radiographer on thursday evening said they were being sent straight off ,as marked urgent, and should be available in the doctors by friday afternoon. Apparently still not reached the doctors! And , despite the GP who sent me for xrays saying I must go back to see him , no way can I get an appointment with anyone before 14 december :ohno:

The internet surveillance section at GCHQ reports that @littleme is currently trying cat-fluff, but the results are ambiguous at this early stage in the treatment programme.

And , despite the GP who sent me for xrays saying I must go back to see him , no way can I get an appointment with anyone before 14 december :ohno:
I would suggest writing directly to him, (pretending to ) explain your failure to comply with his instructions and outlining the reasons why.

Does your surgery do telephone consultations? I have managed to book a same day consultation with one of my surgery's doctors previously.

I forecast a hangover in the morning. Still in the pub ( hiding in a corner in my scruffy attire ) , cider going down well, and only had a bag of scratchings for my tea . Would have had a meal , but our latest few meals in the wildwood have been rather dissppointing.
