I thought that myself once I realised what was going on at GreyFriars. You'd probably not want to be on your own when faced with a sudden influx of pushy caravan types.
pushy caravan types.
I was going to use the usual term for such people but feared there wouldn't be enough safe places for the snowflakes I offended to seek refuge in.Is that the new politically correct term?

The last few days I've been desperately seeking silence. I've got a migraine, one of my cluster ones it seems from the fact that it's not buggering off. Everyone and everything is so loud. The dogs keep barking at the tosspots outside who are riding loud scrambler bikes and quad bikes up and down and up and down in the street. Husband is loudly talking to his mates all day on the internet. Next door but ones dog is constantly barking out the back, neighbour woman is screaming abuse at her kids out the back. I can't escape. Every room has some kind of crazy inducing racket. I've found the sound generator website that was mentioned on here a while back and i'm having to put that on with headphone on, but to drown out the racket i'm having to have it playing very loudly which is great for cutting down on the crazy making noises but terrible for my poor head. Eventually one of two things may happen, my head will explode or I'll go crazy, mind you both seem likely.
If I remember correctly from my copy of Protect & Survive, if it goes nuclear, you need a bit more than earplugs.Getting out of the house seems to have done me a world of good. However I shall definitely remember your very kind offer if it goes nuclear again.
