They're currently running a competition to find a name for the venue.
No hint as to where it might be?

Bingley Hall?
Or the old cinema. I believe they were struggling, I may be wrong?Old library? Trying to think what would have 400 capacity. If its the old strip club then its probably doomed to failure due to location.

Posted in another thread but only just seen this
We've already got a live music venue, but that's aimed more at the punk/rock/metal type
there's space for tribute bands/more poppy stuff too so I guess it'll be good?
Staffords first and only dedicated tribute act venue opening in 2021...
405 person capacity , live pa , lights , 30ft video wall large raised stage and more all on site.
Green room and accommodation on site
big place- with accomodation on site ? 405 capacity, hmm shouldn't be really hard to guess but I can't think
Sounds very ambitious eitherway, although the tribute acts when casa did some live music didn't go down badly and got people in, but this sounds a very expensive project
Masonic Hall
MEB / High Voltage building, Glover Street
Sandonia ...
I know it doesn't say when in 2021 it might open but both of those feel they would need a lot of work to get them to the point where they were looking at bookings, not to mention licensing etc.
If this is real my guess would be something fairly easy to convert and get up and running.
I did wonder if it would be part of Couture? Another re jig of the basement area that's currently poptastic. It's the 'accommodation on site' that made me think about it.
Poptastic is the only room that gets people in I believe, unless there's events in the main Rooom, all the cool kids go casa nowadays
