Hi guys

Is this site even active anymore?

I'm looking at moving into the area and could do with some recent updated advice! And possibly meet some new friends.

I've seen the 2011 forum to do with moving but I'd like something a bit life recent please

I'm in Cheshire! I've just qualified as a personal trainer and I'm just waiting on my house to sell before I move.

I don't really know anyone in the area so it's a complete change for me and pretty exciting :)

I have two kids 8 and 4

Your thread will start to get responses soon, I'm sure - most of the usual suspects will be pissed out of their heads at Live@The Castle at the moment - but the majority will survive the event....

I'm looking for

Areas to focus more on for 1-1 sessions
Halls etc that I could rent and do classes
Areas to live nothing too busy, ie surrounded by lots of kids.
And also schools? I've seen a couple of ofstead reports for near walton on the hill.

Where we live is pretty quiet and full of the older generation in a little cul de sac. It's not too bad, I've just outgrown the town RUNCORN urgh! It's not a good place ha ha

How long have you lived there for?

I'm visiting next weekend to explore the area and get a feel for it and also tackle go ape as it's my birthday

Interestingly, or most likely not, Runcorn was established as a burh by our very own Æthelflæd and is also, as far as i'm aware, the only town other than Stafford that has a church dedicated to Saint Bertelin.

Halls. Memorial Hall Great Haywood; Haling Dene, Penkridge; Monckton Centre, Penkridge; Church Hall (Reading Room), Penkridge ... Most villages have some sort of hall.

That's interesting about Runcorn Withnail I never knew that.

Runcorn has changed, maybe because it's smaller there seems to be much too much rif raf and too many parents not caring about their kids and dumping them on the street.

A lot of them think they're GANGSTERS going around with weapons. I know everywhere has drama and violence but that place has worsened.

Are you from there Noah?
