Just been, and had a filling with no anaesthetic!!!!

Didn't hurt though, damn weird. Was bricking it, but was all fine.

Trust me, I was not looking forward to it! When he said he doubted he needed to numb it I was ready to leave, but I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Loads of bits of crap came out of it, and he said it was a deep filling, but I never felt anything other than the vibrations.

My jaw aches a bit now, but again I think that was from vibrations as its not just on that tooth.

The needle would have hurt more than what they did to him.
Exactly. He did say he could give one if I needed, but did I want to see first. Which I have to say has pretty much just destroyed my fear of dentists, I know other procedures will doubtful be as painless but I don't think I'll be worried about my next visit.

I'm reliably informed that on Busby's farm one can be seen by a dentsist, choropodist, oral hygienist, optician, vet, value bread expert, manicurist, piss-artist,lobomotomist, and all at cost. No questions asked......

The chances of forming a conversation with any is pretty slim though...

Is that a Moomin?
If the hole is nowhere near to the nerve u can have no anaesthetic, which is what I had on my root canal work the nerve was dead so no jabs. A scary experiance to be sure but no pain .

If anyone is still looking then I can second the Hillcrest recommendation. Great place and usually able to sign people up quick sharp.

You're funny. Yes, the dentist I know you are speaking of is quite attractive.

The reason I like her is she is great with kids and my son likes her too. Wait, maybe it's because she's fit. They do grow up.

nope.. both the dentists i clapped eyes on were indian, and the one i had an appointment with had an indian name..

edit: you know you're getting old though when doctors/dentists/etc. are younger than you lol.. the one i had my appointment with can't have been older than 25!
