Groupon offer, choose from a limited menu but £19 for 2 people:

Quidco is 5%, so another quid almost off that.

I bought my groupon deal the other day £38 for 4 people.

Starters, mains and sides all for £9.50 a head.

I wasn't so impressed when we went before but for that price I am willing to give it another go, and anyway, the "best" chefs are meant to be back.

Went last night, shame to see it almost empty on a Saturday evening :(

We shared the fish and the chicken starter, the chicken was alright but the fish was lovely! Went for the chicken curry and the lamb rogan josh with a pilau rice and naan for main and both were great. They also both looked very similar, none of the bright colouring from many takeaways they were both brown (and had a consistency like you get when you cook a curry in cast iron, it tends to thicken much better than in aluminium ones). All in all very impressed with the quality and will likely return for a full price meal where we can choose what we want.

Drinks are a little pricey though, about a fiver per glass. We spent £22 on top of the groupon voucher, but left an £8 tip anyway.

The food quality is back to top quality however since they opened the Stoke restaurant the place has been very quiet. And rather chilly on some nights.

My worry is that they will see the lease out and go.

Stafford folk do like to get hammered on their own cheap booze . It's in the Magna Carta

don't mention the blinds
Stafford's not alone in townsfolk getting hammered on cheap booze, you should see the centre of Uttoxeter when the Sodbusters are holding folding.....

Well four of us went tonight using a Groupon deal and overall it wasn't great.

We paid £38 for 4 people which sounds like a great deal.

We were greeted very nicely by 2 very pleasant very young English girls who were very new.

They were the only 2 people serving all night apart from one Indian gentleman who appeared from time to time.

We were given the basic "groupon menu" but had to ask 3 times for the main menu. You can order from the menu as long as it it is the same price, or you can pay the difference.

They took ages to take the order both for drinks and food.

The brought the wrong starters to the table, but when our came they were lovely.

We had to ask 3 times for another bottle of wine.

They didn't bring more cutlery after we had used ours for the starter..no sign of the waitress so we just went to the next table and took cutlery from there.

The main courses all looked like bowls of sick.

Adele playing on a very loud loop in the background was dreadful. I want Indian music in an Indian restaurant.

The girls were nice but the service was dreadful.
Starters were nice but the mains were dreadful
Decor was ok, but the music was dreadful.

I will never go again.

I have tried 3 times now but never again.

Yes I know it was half price but I still feel like I wasted £38 and 2 hours out of my life.

Still not been, probably won't bother now, I've never taken to this place even when it's been other things, not sure if it's the location or the general atmosphere of the place.

I visit a lot of Indian restaurants and I have never ever seen girls serving in them. I might try it out the next time I eat out in Stafford.

Asha's in Birmingham springs to mind, nearly all female waiting staff.

We have a friend who runs a Balti restaurant and I asked him why there weren't any women working there and he said they wouldn't want to work in a restaurant because they already do enough serving at home.
