I think your photos are brilliant but just one question.....

What about peoples privacy...for example in the summer if someone was in their garden sunbathing and they didnt particularly want the photo going online.
Or dont they go that close?

Very good question, and this is why there are currently strict guidelines in place. If someone ever flies one directly over your home then they are breaking the law anyway. If I were to capture someone sunbathing nude on doxey marshes or at the park, well then they should really think more carefully before catching a few rays

All 3 of those sound good to me, also a few shots of the new MOD houses behind Douglas Road West as that turned out a lot bigger than I thought!

Wmr, I really wouldn't fly anywhere near service accommodation if I were you, not with the world the way it is. You would certainly be noticed and have modplod after you.

He can't fly over it, but pretty sure he already flies on the field next to it.

OK, I stand corrected. Thought 'MOD houses' indicated service quarters. Which puzzled me somewhat because you seem an eminently sensible sort.

The 'right' to privacy has so far been rejected by English courts despite the frequent quoting of Article 8 of the Human Rights Act 1988

Or in other words you may record or photograph anyone, to include adults and children, if they are in a public space

Finding out what is a public space is less easy

Causing a public nuisance is a criminal act, causing a private nuisance a civil one

So do it with style, and without fuss

And ignore the Daily Mail Brigade

Damn you @wmrcomputers ... I've just caved in and ordered a dji phantom 3.

I've been playing around with a cheaper drone just to master flying but I'm ready to go more upmarket now.
I'm not looking to do professional work with it, its just an extra for my camera hobby.
Should be delivered sometime next week so if you have any tips you want to share then please let me know
