Stafford Flash Mob anyone??

Okay, a totally random one here, but does anyone else find this kind of thing amusing??

It's the kind of thing I'd love to be part of just for my own amusement really - and it would be a cracking excuse to go for a pint afterwards.

This kind of thing takes a lot of people, anything less than 50 and it just wouldn't work. I'm curios if anyone else is amused by this kind of thing and would participate if it was amongst a big enough group of people.

Another thought, if video'd by someone and uploaded to youtube under title of "PLACE DATE" because no doubt people would google it, then the wording on youtube could mention it was organised by a member of staffordforum.com and therefore would possibly be publicity for this place

So far 50% definite plus another 33% maybe's is interesting. This could be fun! We could have regular "events" followed by a pint afterwards.
I personally can think of 3 or 4 individuals that would be up for it, giving a total of 6 or 7 people already. If the interest continues to increase I'll set up a dedicated site and we'll get people to register and join an email updates list.

I'm thinking wherever it is HAS to be busy at the time. Maybe the guildhall on a Saturday, or a Supermarket during peak shopping times. The train station could be a good one too during a busy enough period.

These are all things that of course could be voted on and suggestions put forward for other idea's other than "freezes".

On a very drunken night out I did once suggest a full on pirate mock sea battle in a town centre would be amusing...People agreed at the time but were less forthcoming when I suggested the placing of of money where mouths are....

What happens once I've registered?

Initially you'll just be added to a mailing list (only for this purpose and will not be passed onto any third parties). Then if registrations reach a point where there would be enough people to take part I'd email asking you all to complete an online form voting on places / dates / times / events etc and we'll go from there.
It's all just an "if" at the moment, but you never know.
