You can, you can make personal and business deposits using your bank card.I may be mistaken but can’t you deposit cash at the post office using your debit card?

Closing branches is just a sign of the times for the Halifax. When I was in the Halifax yesterday the staff were advising customers that the branch was closing in April and the nearest branch would be Cannock or Longton.
I'm just hoping that I don't ever need to go to a branch ever again as neither of these locations are safe to be at if I need to deposit large amounts of cash!!

It has been fenced off because there are no longer any shops beyond that point.Saw a large area of the Guildhall fenced off at the weekend, is that temporary or is that there to stay?
I think sadly our position as the overlooked middle-child between a bunch of massive conurbations means that, with Manchester, Brum and Liverpool all being within an hour's ride on the train, if people want physical stores they can get it there without too much of a faf... meaning that towns which don't have the same name recognition of prestige get shafted more than half the time, Stafford is just unfortunately one of these. Wigan, about an hour up the M6, has a LOT in common with Stafford in that respect.
Then let's just hope the council don't waste our money by f*cking things up.It has been fenced off because there are no longer any shops beyond that point.
According to someone on Facebook yesterday. The Guildhall council deal has been done and the staff have been given their notices.
Depending on how much they paid for it they may well have wasted the money already.....Then let's just hope the council don't waste our money by f*cking things up.
Well, that's a shock! *Depending on how much they paid for it they may well have wasted the money already.....
I noticed that the other day, but couldn't remember the name of it when I was going to post it on here.I don't know when but Rustica Express on Princes St is closed....hardly a surprise
I… don’t think that’s the case? 1kg of fusilli will not run you a fiver in Asda. It's a plastic free refill place, and generally the unit cost is less than supermarkets.
