Work appears to be completed on Radford Bank, all lights removed, and No lights currently on Weeping Cross. (08:45)[/Q
I think you'll be safe holding your breath on this one.Lets see how long it lasts!
Staffordshire Highways motto.expect some delays
You drift? For the past 18 years all my motoring delays have been voluntary/self inflicted,
you get my drift ? ......
The temporary lights were gone today and we were back to the joy of the standard ones. There were still a few cones cordoning off a wheelbarrow, but no personnel in sight. There was some sand around a kerbstone - otherwise, I have no idea what it was all about.Re Sandon road lights . looks like they have cameras on them ,maybe to catch the twats who go through red lights ..

I’ve been overseas for years, now I’m back in the real world I was convinced the traffic rules had changed:
Amber now means “put your foot down”.
Red means “stop if it is convenient”.
They have improved the cycling aspect by the lay-by by installing "Cyclists Dismount" signs. The standard answer to this sort of issue. Also a problem for cyclists and peds as the lights are only controlled by vehics leaving industrial estate. If you survive that the lay-by pavement is obstructed by a hedge, a burger van, a line of Audis and broken glass, no to mention the toilet facilities in the nearby ditch. Stafford will be Britain's gridlock capital if they don't get people out of cars and onto bikes.
The council used to have a cycling officer. What happened to that idea?
