Seems odd to include Tiaxall Road in the alternative route?for those who believe their int enough traffic disruption on beaconside

The only surprise is they haven't chosen the road between Tixall and Milford.Seems odd to include Tiaxall Road in the alternative route?
access to and from Parkside will be "via escort" does this mean that somebody in a hi-viz jacket will walk in front waving a white flag? That'll screw the buses up and cause problems accessing and egressing Parkside.
Great planning :-(

If the lights didn't keep changing to prioritise Silkmore Lane / Rickerscote as frequently, or unless there was traffic wanting to turn in or out of the junction, then more trucks could get through, and if similar 'common sense' to traffic control was applied through the town during such times, then there would be much less backlog of traffic and much less disturbance to residents, and much less frustration for the diverted drivers.
I used to live on Foregate Street and that was a regular occurrence. I feel your pain. Here we go again . . . . . . Rumble, Hiss (air brakes), Rumble Rumble . . . .set in for the night . . .
Stafford can't even sort out the traffic light timing for normal everyday driving

Apparently there is a gap in the queue . . . Must be the 'Boon Grove Triangle' . . . . . . but from here it's not that obvious
