PM's are for ironing out differences, not here on the playground.

You posted #743 and #744, no one else.
The divorce papers are in.
I'll pay all costs, anything to make this happen.

That was easier than i thought, i should have done it sooner...

...a lot like going vegan!

Stafford Vegans and Stafford Animal Activism on FaceBook.
Friendly people, lots of hints and tips (hacks) and information, meet-ups, reviews and recent buys.

Not being a massive fan of FB (there's only so many kid pics and pet pics and kids with pets pics, a man can take), but from what i've seen and been told it's worth joining the group for all things vegan.

Not keen on the animal activism site, too militant for me, not all vegans feel the need to take radical action, some of us jsut try and be the change we want to see rather than actively campaign, but I enjoy the hints on the Stafford vegans page!

Agreed, though i'm undecided, i feel i should go out and shout about it as i very often find myself wanting to yell "...BUT WHY DO YOU NOT SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING YOU SO CALLED ANIMAL AND PEACE LOVING DIPZHITS..." among the animal eating cows milk suckling lot, but then find myself thinking my bit is enough, but then find myself saying it isn't, ARRGGHHHHHH!

It was the march against the rabbit farm in Gnosall that helped me go vegan though, so, i know it can work.

Anyway, Stafford Vegans, yes, it's a must for any vegan wot lives in Stafford, if just for the relief of being amongst the like minded.

TBF I'm seeing less pics of people's kids and pets these days and more posts from the groups I'm interested in. So it's worth getting on to Facebook if only to sign up to those groups (like the Lichfield Food Festival group I've just linked-to on another thread).

Eh, like everything vegan, they massively overcharge. Something like £5.50 a tub, and never reduced. Same with a lot of newer brands coming through - I think part and parcel is overcharging because

*Put on conspiracy hat*

a) Captive audience
b) If it doesn't sell they can claim a lack of interest

Can i share ya hat, i kinda agree.

I can afford it so buy it*. I look at it that if i were to go out and have dessert, it'd cost more to do so.
The B&J tub was split over a few nights so ended up being about 60/70p a serving, not too bad at all imo. It's a very rare treat.

On the same sorta note, i do wonder about those that are queuing up at the drive-thrus for coffee (as seen at the new Starbucks off Weston Road), i bet they pay close to £3 for some frothy milk and a shot of coffee with syrup but argue the toss over the price of a decent jar of coffee (and bottle of syrup) in supermarkets.

I do like a good conspiracy theory.

I hope veganism goes the same way as 4k TVs and not 3D TVs.

*show-off, with all that talk of being able to afford £5.50 ice-cream

Yeah, but for my money if I wanted dessert - I could drive to town, park, and get a slice of homemade vegan cake and a pot of teapigs tea from Mad Hatters for £3.95 (plus petrol :P)

When treating yourself out in town at a cafe is significantly cheaper than treating yourself at the supermarket, I think the pricing is janky.

( that said, the amount of times my Mrs pop's in for said vegan cake, and a vegan oatcake, the economies don't work in my favour ;) )

Considering how we treat animals, if you want to eat your own dog, what's the problem?

All those dogs in all those shelters going to waste.*

I like this animal so please don't eat it, i don't care for that animal so eat it if you please.
Concern about one animal then zero concern for another, how convenient.

Hypocrisy.

*i'm being facetious for those that don't see it at first.

A little heart wrenching moment.
We all need a heart wrenching moment to do the right thing, to see the truth of what happens in something we're part of.

If the little baby cow takes the milk that's rightfully hers, then we don't get to have that milk in our Starbucks mochas or on our rice crispie pops, it's obvs when you sit and think about it for a millisecond.

Cow's milk, yeah, it's for baby cows.

WOW An MP who campaigns for animal rights gets together with an animal rights organisation and manages to start a public and political discussion about it and all you can do is call them hypocrites.
With friends like you who needs enemies!
