It's like only ever wanting a kitten or puppy, so when your kitten or puppy reaches 12 months you take it to the vets to be killed.
You then pick-up another kitten or puppy to keep for 12 months, on the way home.

All the time not caring that the kitten or puppy never gets to see beyond 12months, why care, you only ever wanted a kitten or puppy anyway.

That said, look at the stats, little shocking is an understatement!

If you're Korean, then I guess the answer would be.....yes?

Only in the freezer.
...and now you're saying Koreans keep their pet cat or dog in the freezer, for those 12 months they have the pet?

Ohhhhhhhhhh, hang on no i see, you're saying Koreans keep cats and dogs in their freezer to eat, they don't keep cats or dogs as pets at all but keep animal's parts (or as a whole) in their freezer ready for consumption, at any time, that right?

Anyone reading this thread ever eaten dog meat before?

...or any other animal meat some may consider distasteful/in bad taste ie just not British?

Not knowingly. I suppose the most unusual meat I've eaten is goat, but that was just to try it, and never again.

When in Andora I once tried a meat that was "unidentifiable". With me was a master butcher and a head chef of a very reputable local country pub....neither could identify what this particular cut of delicious meat was......though there were quite a number of anoying Spanish children knocking about.....and numbers were diminishing....

Also on my global travels many years ago, and this is the absolute truth, when staying in Louisville. KY for the Kentucky Derby, I did pass frequently a Korean restaurant conveniently located next to a community vertrinarian surgery........make of that what you will, but it was concerning.

Also for the record, the joke regarding Korean cuisine was meant to be taken as a joke! But please feel free to bite, and bite hard you did.....

Mild racism taken with a pinch of salt.

Understood.
