And currently no liquor licence, this is now granted by the local authority who should be jumping through hoops to arrange one, apparently they aren't.....joshua said:Walked past the bank house this morning and noticed all the tables now have menus and candles on them, so is there new management in place and will we have another eatery open soo?

We simply cannot expect services carried out by public bodies to remain consistant now cuts are becoming effectivebasil said:And currently no liquor licence, this is now granted by the local authority who should be jumping through hoops to arrange one, apparently they aren't.....joshua said:Walked past the bank house this morning and noticed all the tables now have menus and candles on them, so is there new management in place and will we have another eatery open soo?

I dont think the number of MP's or MEP's is too relevant but the numbers of new laws istek-monkey said:Would it not be fair to reduce the number of MPs by the same % as other services? With less public servents to carry out their policies it makes sense to reduce the number of people who make policies as well.
Do they still allow children to run around unchecked?John Marwood said:Worston Mill looks a little tired these days and the food last time I was there was below par even for Stafford so I am not sure what the management can add to the Bankhouse - time will tell

Last time I was in the experience was somewhat spoiled by about half a dozen little darlings chasing each other around the place and, as you say, the food wasn't all it might have been.
......and whilst awaiting the booze licence the choice of soft drinks is far from eclectic however at least one can pick up the wi-fi from the vine......basil said:And currently no liquor licence, this is now granted by the local authority who should be jumping through hoops to arrange one, apparently they aren't.....joshua said:Walked past the bank house this morning and noticed all the tables now have menus and candles on them, so is there new management in place and will we have another eatery open soo?

1st thing is, would you like me to lay into the authorities ?.....The Bankhouse said:I would like to take the time to thank you all for your previous posts about the Bankhouse, it has been very insitful, and look forward to anymore sugestions you may have.
We are indeed under new management, as of the beggining of June. We have been now granted a premisis licence after a wait of over 3 months. mainly due to the lack of communication and support recieved from the local authority.
Our menu is mainly based arround light snacks, including paninis, jackets, and sandwidges, with a few main meals on there aswell. We are now able to serve alcahol aswell, with lager on tap and a selection of wines, bottled beers etc. i would be very interested in listening to any sugestions as to the product range, espicially with regards to local beers etc.
We currently do not allow children. I am aware that this is a highly debateable area, but we believe that there is a need for a place where people can get a spot to eat, and a drink, without being disturbed by children running arround etc.
Thank-you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
