Yes, it's

again

All in all a bit of an over reaction to the 1 Direction split I thought

What it might mean is now is a good time to buy ( stuff ) and that interest rates are more likely to remain low for longer

Then again. ..

Here's an enhanced version for you Withnail, hope you don't mind.
I most certainly do not - strangely enough, that looks more like how it looked like, especially in the foreground, it wasn't the best of days but wasn't quite as gloomy as my picture records.
Where are you @Withnail ?
Helvellyn, Red Tarn with Ullswater in the distance?
Yes, ^there.

Bit of a 'lifetime ambition' for me, this one - have wanted to 'climb' Helvellyn for some thirty years or so. It's been such a long time that i'm no longer entirely sure why i've wanted to do it so much. Only down side was that i've really wanted to do it via Striding Edge - the gnarly spiky ridge in the middle ground to the right of the pic - but this wasn't really feasible so i came at it via Thirlmere.

What a feckin' walk that is. It was so beastly that i took a bit of time to work out how to get down by not walking that again, only to take a wrong turn and find myself walking down feckin' that again - by the time i'd worked that out, the die was cast. Can confirm it was at least as bad, if not worse, to descend. Legs were - and to a lesser degree still are - in bucking fits.

Hugely wonderful to be atop a big hill with the world beneath my feet, though, as ever.

Today i saw...

... an hugely fat, black, hairy caterpillar.

I climbed Helvellyn a few years ago and it's by far my favourite mountain out of all the ones I have 'done'. Agree though hell on the legs - especially the knees on the way down. Came down via the never ending rock steps - seem to go on forever. Even then you have a massive walk back to the car park mostly up hill but would love to do it again one day.

So busy replying to withnail's 'Today I saw' that I forgot to put my own on.
Today (Yesterday) I saw - Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen still looking as flamboyant as ever but now sporting a beard.
And also a seagull explode :(
