Bog oak is rather more sought after than the butter - a good oak piece will fetch serious money.

Bodies do also turn up, one of the oldest, around 2,000 BC was found in this bog in 2011.

The man himself, the lad that found him and the archaeologist.

Not today, the other day on holiday.
The land of the midnight sun. Taken from my balcony at 11.45pm on the Norwegian cruise that we have just done. We were passing another ship and I managed to get the photo at the right moment. Just taken with my phone so not an expert photo.

It's been ages since I've been to Tesco and remembered why when I came to leave ....:grr:traffic :grr: I have to admit I'm terrible for not noticing people when I'm out always looking without seeing I popped into m n s last Friday from the back entrance and there was man and woman sat on the chairs I didn't look at their faces as I walked passed I heard the bloke say isn't that .......did she just ignore us? I turned back to see it was someone I knew had to apologise several times, I'm sure they didn't believe me that I just didn't see them, I hate shopping so usually just have my mind focused on getting what I need to and getting out. Next time just wing a read roll at me or summat that'll get my attention.
