Fred Dibnahs old one int it?
As far as I know, Fred's old Landy is looked after by his daughters. It pops up at shows occasionally and seems in good condition, though I think it was fully rebuilt towards the end of Fred's life.Fred Dibnahs old one int it?
What a great idea .....
Portal: Lithuania and Poland build a window connecting two cities - BBC News
The bit they’re knocking down was built in early 70’s (on Broad St/ Earl St). We used to look out of the “new” engineering block over the mud bath that it was to be built on. That would have been 71 or 72. The engineering block was demolished maybe 10 years ago.I'm a bit stunned at seeing that. Surely that was only built a couple of years ago ....
... where the f*** has the engineering gone ?
I wish we did here, I love a good thunderstorm! Now we've got thunder and lightning and very hard tropical style downpour. I've got all my aerials earthed down and await my punishment for putting up one finger to the sky. (Not that the big cheese wont get another finger when it moves away.)
Thunderstorms are ace but we don't get proper ones in this country.I wish we did here, I love a good thunderstorm!

That is perhaps a little on the excessive side.
Awwww poor lil thing.Well this wasn’t today, but the other day. Husband spotted a splodge by the bottom of the front door.
We thought it was some moss that periodically comes off the roof.
So we went to brush it off.

Closer inspection revealed it to be a bat, so we left it.
We’ve lived here 20 years and have got used to bats flying around.
It’s been there for 4 days now so we think it might be dead, but it’s still clinging on to the brickwork.
So we don’t know what to do with it.
