I have my own name on another forum but I randomly chose my name, linked to an old nickname, when I registered on here. On here there's much more of a range of subjects than the other forum I use and wasn't sure whether to use my name or not. It appears there isn't as much friction on here (something which is a real pain), in comparison, so I may change my name in the near future.

I personally like all the weird and wonderful usernames you guys & girls have come up with! I think their a reflection on one's personality/style of humour and I think this place would be a lot more boring and uptight if everyone just used their real name.

Ah, I see what you mean. I didn't correctly infer the "...on other forums," on the end of "(something which is a real pain,"! Perhaps I'm having a glass-half-empty day, like you say.
