I was told recently that there is no social housing on the entire estate - ths was a selling point by the estate agent.
Not quite true as I have been told that every new housing estate now has to have a small percentage of social housing so there are some homes on Saxonfields. Also there are some on Bluebell Hollow and there will have to be some on the new estate on the Police HQ when its built.
Every new development has to have affordable housing as far as I'm aware (a percentage decided by the local planning authority) but I've not heard there's legislation about social housing?
Maybe I've got the terminology wrong then. It could possibly be 'shared ownership' housing and not housing association.

Although there was a car set light on someone's driveway on Wildwood according to the Upmystreet site.
I'd be very suprised if that was the case.
Me too - one wonders whether this incident is the source, and Upmystreet is not quite right.

We don't get visible crime round our way - we get our misery direct.

There is a fair bit of anti social behaviour in Baswich - just do your homework on the roads you are interested in. Check out the police website for crime rates etc.
