What are your phobias?

All of those make sense to me, Littleme. I would also say walking over bridges in case they fall through. Oh, I am normal weight, by the way!

The bridge that really worries me is the one at Bridgnorth from the station across to High Town. I really do not like that one although usually I'm ok with bridges.

Is there a word for...

Fear of following through?

I really have no idea but it could possibly be 'incontiphobia'? There is a known way to allay this at least, and that is by use of a cork. However, this carries a risk to the public and could land you in serious trouble if someone was to get shot. I don't know if you can take out insurance against it - you (or the friend on whose behalf you are enquiring!) would have to find out.

I don't doubt it but, at the risk of sounding sexist in these mind boggling/pc times, I would suggest that it is far more prevalent amongst the male population than the fresher-minded female.

Hmmmmmm. .. So how would you explain the well known saying NoShitSherlock?

Never having heard the expression, I can only surmise that it was introduced as a smoke screen by an embarrassed male, using the accredited name of Sherlock to give it some credence? I just don't know.

Yes, perhaps it is but I hold with my assertion that this is a male-dominated domain, or are you taking this in another direction with your poll?

Noooo, I don't see why it should be in a controlled environment. It's an inescapable bodily function ... a time 'n' motion exercise if ya like.

Well of course anything rubber-stamped by the Viz must be respected, so I suggest your submission of shartophobia should be carried unanimously.
