Needs to stay in the 70's along with crispy pancakes...

I had crispy pancakes the other week , when I spotted them in farmfoods as used to love them back in the 70's/80's . Can't remember them tasting as cardboardy as they were! Won't bother again!

Bring back Toast Toppers!

Something less calorific tonight , last nights Moussaka , Chips and desert were bloody lovely but had a few days calories in that one meal!

Chicken in mushroom sauce , mash and veg is planned for tonights tea.

The first thing I thought when I read about @littleme’s sandwich spread.
Chicken & bacon toast topper….. the 70’s equivalent of a kebab after the pub. Either that or a Vesta chicken chow mein with crispy noodles but that usually took a lot longer to prepare than 4 slices of toast.

They're back on form, just got back from taking a friend for a birthday tea.
I had pork ribeye with a white bean and chorizo cassoulet and she had lamb pie with mash. Both really tasty and well presented.
