I have it on good authority that our @peggy has won us a bronze in the 5,000 metres road race.
This I can confirm! A little ungraciously though!
Crikey! Don't overdo it!
well done Peggy love xxx
That's great, well done you.
Well done Peggy, you must be thrilled.
1,500 metre bronze now.
Well done Peggy love xx
Well done @peggy
You've done yourself proud, what a fantastic achievement.
I believe she's got a gold
It certainly looks that way.
Not sure what for at this stage - possibly boxing?
Wow. .. that's truly brilliant @peggy
For you to do that is brilliant in its own right, ....amazing
But not forgetting that these are the "Transplant Games"
It's just a reminder perhaps to nudge people into signing up to donate their organs.
@peggy and all of those taking part in the games would not have been able to do so at all without the gift of organ donation.
Just do it - https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/register-to-donate/register-your-details/ - and a bit of you might win something.
Today was the final day and the results don't seem to be available yet - I'm sure we'll find out what we won shortly, though.
Just by taking part, they've all won their own personal battle, and their own personal achievement.
Well done @peggy and to everyone that has embraced the life that they've been given
Checking back would suggest that it might be a 50 metre swimming event.
It was gold for the 800 meter track.
Thank you for your support. It was a bit of a messy end with paramedics on standbye as I wasn't too well but I'm absolutely over the moon! Powered by the gift of life
Sorry as often happens, I am late picking this up!
Well done Peggy!
Just read in the Express and Star that you are looking to fundraise £1,500 to compete in the 2018 European Transplant Games and the same again for the 2019 World Transplant Games.
Do you have a justgiving site where we can send money?
Also anyone up for doing a group Stafford Forum sponsorship for Peggy? Not sure how much this would cost though???
I believe more medals are being won in the British games. Well done!
