i answered strongly agree to capital punishment btw...not very liberal
yeah, i answered in the affirmative for a lot of the "discipline" questions, so i really don't understand why it hasn't got me in the "authoritarian" quadrant.. there were very few questions that i strongly agreed/disagreed with, though, which i guess is why i am hovering around centre, like a right old fence-sitter..

Same here! Some of the questions I had to read a few times too, at first glance I strongly disagreed but after reading a few times I realised I agreed with the statement as such I just didn't agree with the sentiment behind it.
yeah, i know what you mean.. there were a couple which i automatically went to answer "disagree" because i realised it was alluding to some concept/policy i didn't agree with, but then i thought "well, i actually agree with the statement, i just don't believe it can work in this way in the real world" so didn't know what to do.. for those, i tried to answer in the spirit of the questionnaire - i.e. ignore my perceived political beliefs and just answering the questions as if they were black and white..

Didn't somebody just buy something from Oxfam to help himself become self-sufficient in vegetarian foodstuffs?

Apparently not, I was expecting that too though. In fact a lot higher up the Y axis also.

C'est la vie.

Seems about right.

i'm impressed - i tried my damnedest and still ended up as a shitting libertarian.. i think i'm probably not alone in thinking you hold some of the more hardline opinions 'pon the forum, so even taking that into account it's surprising to see you so close to centre.. makes me wonder how their other examples (tories, new labour, etc.) ended up top-right!
