@John Marwood mentioned Christmas Trees on another thread.

Today in a card shop in The Guildhall I saw these......A whole wall of Christmas cards.

It's only half way through August......it should be banned, it really should.

3 beggars having a test run on the garden furniture outside Wilkos.

They even had the cheek to ask for any spare change :)

A bird in the bush.
We spotted a gorgeous little robin in the bush in the front garden.
I grabbed my I pad and took a photo, trying to zoom in.
He didn't seem shy at all but let me get closer and closer and closer.

I think he wants me to "tweet" it.

Last night on a rare night on the town, near the amusement arcade, I saw a couple of blokes one of them took his cap off, popped a quid in it and put it on the floor, before he sat down to join it, the other one went off presumably to do the same further up the town! I do feel for some of these people who are on our streets and I do give change out during the day, but it is difficult to see who is in genuine need sometimes, when you see things like this going on.
