Hubby said there were a few unleaded pumps empty when he topped up at Shell, Brocton (171.9 unleaded) yesterday as well . He didn't notice if any diesel.Asda Stafford was 170, but no fuel Friday or Saturday
I have a nasty feeling you'll look back on this in the weeks and months to come, as the halcyon days of cheap diesel.Don't judge me. I filled up at BP on Saturday. I was on fumes and 2 places I tried had no diesel. I paid 181.9 as clearly I am paid too much. 90 quid for the full tank. More money than sense.
Maybe this is how our gov will force EVs on us!I have a nasty feeling you'll look back on this in the weeks and months to come, as the halcyon days of cheap diesel.
And then pay through the nose for electricity....Maybe this is how our gov will force EVs on us!
Agreed. If I could afford an EV I'd already have one, pricing me out of diesel just cuts my driving dramatically. Feels like thats the only solution our gov have to overcrowded roads and pollution, make sure only the rich can do stuff. And then pay through the nose for electricity....
It's a lose-lose for us and a win-win for the corruptment, sorry government.
Given the flammability of what's sold I'm surprised such an establishment can be unmanned.Nice to see the price drop over the last few months, but think it could still drop more locally. Filled up on the A75 in Freetown, Dumfries and Galloway for £1.34 for a Ltr of diesel, a bargain and by the number of cars waiting they were doing good business. Interestingly the petrol station was open 24hrs, unmanned with only choice of diesel or petrol and not premium versions, bit like Asda but cheaper.
Given the flammability of the liquids you consume im surprised there isnt a fireman standing next to you at all timesGiven the flammability of what's sold I'm surprised such an establishment can be unmanned.
I normally fill up Wrexham, Wales while visiting parents, it's always 10p cheaper than StaffordNice to see the price drop over the last few months, but think it could still drop more locally. Asda in Stafford is unmanned.Given the flammability of what's sold I'm surprised such an establishment can be unmanned.
How many fires at fuel stations have there been in the last 5 years ??Given the flammability of what's sold I'm surprised such an establishment can be unmanned.
I've not kept count but there was one in Sussex last August. How many fires at fuel stations have there been in the last 5 years ??
Was it manned?I've not kept count but there was one in Sussex last August.
I don't know, but anyone on duty would have been properly trained for promptly and appropriately dealing with such an emergency. Was it manned?
