Sainsburys apple and herb stuffing is our current favouriteWhat about the stuffing? I love a bit of stuffing! (also veg, but I know you don't do veg! )
Sounds bloomin lovely.
This is one of 'the carers' ( @Just little old me:)) favourite things... Although he's ever made it for me....My only real attempt at cooking that doesn't involve a tin opener and microwave. A cheese onion and potato pie, from a wartime recipe based on rationing. I suppose technically it's not a pie, all that's in it is layers of cheese, onion and mashed spud. My Old Dear used to make one of these on a Saturday afternoon for when my Old Man and myself got back from the pub. We would nearly come to blows if we thought one had taken a larger share than the other ..... (and this was measured down to the molecular level.)
Simple I grant you .. but this will last me three days and it's bluddy luvvly.

This was a Stokie school dinner favourite it was mash, cheese and onion in a pastry case (no lid) and was called cheese and onion pie. I used to have this all the time with chips and gravy.
