Cars charge overnight on cheap rates
Not all charge exclusively overnight. It could happen but the clue is when it talks about smart meters of the 'future' and 'last resort' measures. So not going to happen anytime soon. Also not going to happen to public charging unless we reach an end of days scenario, whereupon not being to charge will be the very least of our problems.Cars charge overnight on cheap rates

The idea that they'd cut off specific devices is amusing, if anything surely they'd just cap your import to so many amps and make it your problem what works.
