*Pancakes, lemon & sugar! The first time ever in my life that someone has cooked them for me.....& Not me cooking for everyone else!

*Yes, I know we are a day to early, but we all have busy work schedules & this is the only day this week we will all eat together.... Roll on next Monday.

I still put all kinds of veg in mine now, my Bol sauce is different every time depending on what needs using up.

Carrots, mushroom, courgette, anything handy gets chopped up finely in the food processor then in it goes.

It melts down really well & just helps to thicken sauces, I still do it with whatever needs using in lots of recipes, not just spag bol.

Soooooo when using this paste for your stir-fry & noodles....do not stupidly think 'well the recipe says 1 - 2 tablespoons paste, I'll put 2 tablespoons in even though I'm only cooking for 2 of us '....big mistake... Everything's numb, probably a good day to try fire breathing/eating. 🤣🤣🤣

Use this as a dipping sauce for dim sum, spring rolls, etc. Never use it in cooking, it blows your head off. Has a great taste though.

Tonight will be seafood paella, made last week and now currently defrosting.

Will microwave in about 3 minutes which is great as we‘re out at The Gatehouse tonight to see Josh Pugh.

Pancakes , sugar and lemon juice. A day late I know , but had to wait for son to come to do them for us all( to save any hand disasters). Now craving for more !
