10/10 for effort
2/10 for taste

I'm refusing to cook again tomorrow after this disaster

Spicy, garlicky chicken, sweetcorn & diced ham pasta bake last night.
Have some mince to use up so may be lasagne or some sort of cobbler tonight.

Dissapointed with m&s gunpowder potatoes & butter chicken , very little taste, very bland.

However impressed with the carers red lentil & butternut squash curry (paste & spices care of 'simply cook)... If anyone (@That-Crazy-Rat-Lady ) has a recipe for red lentil & squash curry that would be great...the internet won't tell me splimply cooks secrets...

I was given a spice tin the Christmas before last and it's changed my life! I've since purchased lots of spices from them, they're excellent quality!

However it's the free recipes that are the absolute best - everything I've made has been outstanding!

Slow cooked dark brown sugar gammon joint, and cheesy creamy veg (onions, leeks, potatoes, parsnips & carrots, covered in herby cheesy sauce, & grated cheese & baked on the oven.
