Husband is out tonight so, as he doesn’t care for chilli, that’s what I’m having.
Happened to have some in the freezer so a quick and easy tea for me tonight.

When my husband's away I make loads of meals with lemon and vinegar!

When I go away he makes a giant paella and eats it every night for the week!

Chucked together a chicken and mushroom casserole type thang. Rosemary roasties and tenderstem broccoli. Brie and crackers.

I've always been quick to fall asleep - soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out.

Last night as I was drifting off I heard my husband whisper 'chippy tea'...

Turns out he's been trying to subliminally message me!!

Of all the things he's trying to hypnotise me into doing it's get a chippy tea!!

I thought it was hilarious and couldn't get to sleep for giggling!

Mince with all sorts bunged in , mash & veg.

Came out suprising good considering it was a joint effort . Son peeled & diced the spuds in his lunch break. Hubby had to do the lifting the heavy saucepans to drain etc. And rest was done left handed by me....took ages left handed but got there in the end and was bloody lovely!!!

(Fed up of supervising hubby at meal times with some strange results when he adds his stupid ways to spoil them So took painkillers and was worth strugging as really enjoyed my creation ! )

Our was a mix tonight (only 2 basa so we shared between the 3 of us), basa with lemon & pepper, tempura cod fillets, greek potatoes, & creamy leaks & peas....
