We've got the interface for the older BMW round plug if it's that one?
Aye sounds like it - looks like this:

If that's the one and you have the proprietary reader then I'd guess you probably could read them.

why do you have to ask? rich is entitled to his anonymity as much as anyone else on here, and just because he has had a bad experience i don't see why that would automatically make you assume he works for a competitor or something :?:

In Glam's defence, the fact that it was Rich's first post on here and he chose to take issue with a previously very well regarded local business did ring alarm bells for me too.

Thats not to say Rich was in the wrong, and I agree perhaps he shouldn't have been questioned on where he worked, especially since he has offered to go back and meet Mr AA, so is obviously not a crank.

It wouldn't have been the first time though that someone has used their first post to slate someone, or conversely to massively praise them, massively in contrast with previous experiences, and then disappear never to be seen again. Thankfully that wasn't the case here and the matter is being sorted, so everyone stand down :) :)

I admit i'm a very suspiscious person, never take anyone at face value. It crossed my mind that maybe Rich worked for a competitor - such as A1 or similar. If i'm wrong, as the case appears, then I will hold my hands up and be the first to admit it, I apologise if my suspiscions have upset anyone.
Here's hopin the lovely Mr AA and Rich can come to a satisfactory conclusion.

The picture's not coming up for some reason Mr S. You can always pop by with the car or come and grab the lead to see if it'll plug in to the car. It's a fair few grands worth of scan equipment so it should give you some clues as to where those gremilns are hiding.

Aye I know they're not cheap, hence not owning one myself, but i'd love to get the codes read and sort this pesky car once and for all :)

Excellent service from AA today for my MOT,

Friendly, ready when advised it would be and it passed! (although this is outside of AA's control really :D )

Its brilliant to finally have a garage in Stafford which is both super quality, well priced and trust worthy.

Keep up the good work, I will be back

Just diverted someone your way. A C2 VTS with a broken exhaust hanger. £300 for a new back box!! Even non genuine! Nothing a bit of fabrication wont sort.

Never underestimate their creativity. I went in for a system which was free flowing but quiet (track rules) and they used a couple of seat Leon middle boxes and a couple of VW transporter TDI back boxes - mission accomplished.

Most impressed :D

All of those small to medium Citroens and Pugs have hanger issues. We do loads of them, only usually about a tenner as the boxes are good just dodgy hangers. Thanks for thinking of us Wildwood

Pug with ABS issues? It's quite a common one. She even brought her own parts with her though, that really does make life easy.

Hey Mr S. Rich came back in on Saturday for us to look at sorting his exhaust out on his Honda. Very nice car, pukka carbon fibre bonnet. He had an aftermarket steering wheel on but I noticed his Airbag light came on and went off perfectly as it should. Asked him about it and it turns out he's a sparky and he's done the resistor trick to meet his MoT standards. Might be worth a PM to get some pointers off him as I know your dash sparkles like a christmas tree. He's a really nice bloke and I'm sure he'd be happy to help, although he did say he was off on hols for a week or two so might be slow to reply.

That's clearly a Powerflo system intended for a 1.1 Citroen Saxo. I guess the military have adapted it, possibly reduced it's bore slightly.
I love the fact they felt the need to paint a red ring around the exhaust outlet. As if the blued metal, heat haze, ticking of the exhaust pipe and possible glowing plumes of exhaust gases weren't enough to highlight that particular part of the vehicle.

That is definitely what the BMW needs for some late night residential cruising - sign me up!

Lunch? you have time to stop for lunch? Nice and easy one on the Mazda.

Thanks for the updated post Rich. We have all the parts in for a nice mandrel bent system. We'll make sure it's up to par with the rest of the car. Hope the holiday was nice and relaxing

The holiday was good but glad to be back in England! I have some Powerflex exhaust hangers and 30ft of very 'bling' exhaust wrap ready to go on :D

Only if I sneak out really sneakily!

Missed you at lunch, I popped in and spoke with t'other mark and got it booked in for monday. I forgot to mention to him at the time, but could you sort the alignment out on the car also please? I've now lowered it and it's running lol degrees of camber.
